Nick Brandt (Tatooer)

I’m an artist that grew up in MN between the cities and lake of the woods area. I went to school for fine art and visual effects, ended up getting into tattooing after moving back from Vancouver, Canada to be closer to family. I have been tattooing professionally since 2014. I enjoy doing all types of tattoos, but if I had to pick a design I am going to pick some abstract realism over anything else.

I look up to abstract artists like Picasso, Dali, VanGogh, and others as well as some of the classic masters like Rembrandt, Vermeer, and DaVinci and impressionists like Monet and Renoir. My work tends to have a more painterly style than a traditional tattoo feeling to it, though I am not opposed to working in any style.
